my fathers village 🫩🤘

When people ask me what village I am affliated with, I always name my mothers' village, even though naming your fathers' village is the norm, since the government writes that village down in your profile.
I DO NOT want to be affliated with my fathers' village because it sucks cow balls, heck, they don't even have cows. What village doesn't have cows? My fathers village. They do have flies, snakes, dogs, fire ants and cats, ig. And like 3 permanent inhabitants, since most of them are either dead with no offspring, or left to go live in the city instead. The houses are abandoned and breaking apart, yet I had to go spend an entire day there because my fathers' side wanted to have a trip to the village. I went anyway because they said they were gonna hold a bbq and maybe, MAYBE they fixed it up a bit since last time.

Anyway I went the place was even deader than I could remember. It was burning outside so I went to sit inside the house but they forgot to pull down the fly blind (since they came to the village earlier than me and my brother did) so the second I stepped in that house it was INFESTED with flies. I was going absolute nuts cause they were trying to enter my nose and mouth no mercy and I was actually feeling like them antelopes at the savannas. I had to literally beat the shit out of the air so they stayed away from me that shit no joke traumatized me. I left the house cause I rather be fried by the sun than fried by those rabid flies.

I figured I wanted to explore the village a bit so I did. Immediately I was met with a random nanny which questioned my entire existence and scrutinized me like I was the first person she ever saw, then I said Eyvallah and went on. I was a bit wary when walking this time ngl, because last time I went taking a walk in that village I crossed the wrong house and almost got taken. Anyway this time there was absolutely no one in sight, I snapped a few pics with my camera and came across abandoned stone houses which almost fell apart. I honestly feel like my fathers family and that nanny are the only people that were in the village that day cause I felt like I was walking though a Chernobyl village.

Anyway then I went back to the house, there was no wifi at all so I spent my time reading a dictionary (peak boredom activity, I wish I had brought a real book instead) then I got attacked by flies again but it was shortlived since the food wa ready. I honestly felt so scammed cause they didnt even do a bbq, just a simple meat pot. Still good tho. After eating and drinking like 2 litres of ayran I went outside again, this time to take a look at the mountains. They also said there was a forest and I got curious about that.

The climb was pretty easy tbf, up until one point, dry grass kept creeping up my legs and poking my skin, also it started to get very steep

Climbing the mountains was a good choice since it was pretty windy up here, it felt refreshing.

At one point I managed to reach the so called forest, which left me dissapointed as heck cause it was literally just a bunch of ungrown trees.

My fathers side always exagerrates stuff anyway. I am honestly not fond of them at all, but this is just low. Walking all this way for this,, well atleast the hike was something new. Also if you look closely you can spot a dead cow. Which is strange cause this village doesnt have cows like I said.

I also found this abandoned house
After a while of standing I got kind of uneasy because his place looked like the perfect terrorist hiding spot, and if you are familiar with Turkish politics you know that Turkey suffered a lot from terrorism the past couple of decades, they say they are putting an end to it. I could talk so much about this topic but then my bulletin would be a bit too long.

Anyway I got back down after that and yeah that was it. I also kind of got chased by a dog which triggered my PTSD from that one kangal incident not so long ago (if you read my bulletins from the past couple of weeks you KNOW EXACTLY what incident I am refering to)
