Yesterday was blog post number forty!
And as such, K have finally received the shiny, shiny platinum trophy-badge-award-thing of doom-ness!
Hurray! I've finally caught the appropriate type, color, and collection of pixels and aren't I proud!
"But wait a minute Macey, I've counted them in a fit of OCD, and by that, yesterday's ditty about Mike and Jen was only your thirty-sixthliest blog post of ever-ousity! How can that be?"
Well, since the inception of a 'private' setting in the Rewinding Friends blogosphere, I've created four posts hiding some layouts I fancy, that I don't lose track of them.
No amount of waving a dead chicken over ascii code will allow me to ever ever properly understand coding. However many previous years of MySpace experience points I racked up, ultimately becoming a 12th level MySpacer prestige class have helped, and I save d a few old layout codes as it pleases me to do so. And, of course, this being deep now into a block of text and easy to miss for the casual 'kudos'er, if you have managed to keep reading my drivel for some damn reason, comment something about fire hydrants in the comments section!
The superbrain behind all of our hopes and dreams that calculates worthiness to award platinum badgers (and presumedly pixelated metallic colored versions of other small furry critters) has decided, in its ultimate wisdom, that even hidden blog posts count, so here we are.
I've 'gamed the system' and achieved interweird greatness for my complete collection of awards!
The only one missing is unachievable - a gold badge I think - it is awarded solely to the first 1000 people to have joined.
Hmmmm .... maybe I could game that system too.
Screen capture the image and code it onto my profile!
Shit.
Wait.
I still don't know how to code.
Woe!
Disaster and woe!
Tune in next time, my chillun!
Gather 'round, ye, as I spin more fascinating and compelling blog posts like this one!
Or else, more stories of dead musicians no one living has heard of (poor ol' Ben Selvin. STILL not even a 'kudos' or comment. At this rate, he'd NEVER achieve any internet pixel awards for merely existing).
Mayhap more semi-dystopian tales of the far away past times of the distant 1980s 😅
I promise/threaten! 😁
Love and mushey kisses,
Macey
