My friend is leaving for college :(

Today was the last day I got to hang out with my friend before he heads to college. I'm gonna miss him because I know he's gonna change (in a good way), but it's sad because what if he changes and grows and thinks I'm annoying? So we are hanging out when he gifts me something of his (he doesn't use it anymore), and I start crying. I walked out of his house and had to hold in my tears, but I ended up crying in the car. I cried so much that the gas station worker gave me a slushy for free :) But I'll miss him, and I hope he has a great time in college. It just sucks that I won't be there with him when he grows, and changes, and enjoys leaving town forever. I don't think he'll come back, but I'll try to see him in college. (It's a three-hour drive to his college).
