MY MANAGER SUCKS

wonderful first blog post... i'm thinking about doing/at least trying to blog daily, and all i can think about right now is how much i LOATHE my manager! i work at a fast food resturant as a front counter staff, and my general manager is a grown ass man who has a habit of picking on the younger, female/feminine employees. he especially likes picking on me more than anyone else, at least that i witness while there. if i'm there, he's badgering me constantly, stopping me from doing certain tasks and sending me to do another, only to get upset i'm not doing the task HE PULLED ME AWAY FROM! WHILE IM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TASK HE GAVE ME! 

and the thing is, he has a wife and 4 daughters, one of this is a literal newborn, and he STILL comes in on his OFF DAYS. he constantly hounds, nitpicks, and pokes at me. it seems almost like he WANTS me to snap so he has a reason to write me up. 3 other managers have left under his reign of terror, two transferred and another straight-up quit, like WALKED OUT. and they are always hiring because the turnover rate is so abysmal due to a combination of the extremely rigid attendance point system & my general manager being a dickhead. 

he used to work at another fast food place too! a manager position higher than general, i think maybe regional, and he got fired from that for the same behavior he's doing now! i think he picks on me because i'm sensitive and he can just say "well i was only trying to help coach them!" when he constantly berates me and pulls me aside for stupid shit that other people are doing but he never stops or 'coaches' them.

AAARGHHH I HATE HIM!!! there are other things he does too, but i'm starting to see red the more i think about him. i applied to be a cook at a nearby university's student center/cafeteria, hopefully i get the job. my best friend works there as a nightclerk, hopefully i get hired & get the same hours & building as her.
