late night thoughts.

do you ever miss a version of yourself more than a person?

i keep thinking about how easy everything used to seem. now it feels like i'm always chasing something i can't name.

maybe that's why i stay up so late.

the world gets quiet, the moon comes out, and for a little while it feels like someone else out there is asking the same questions.

i hope one day all of this makes sense.

until then, i'll keep looking up.
