My opinion on femboys

The idea of a femboy doesn’t sound bad. (a feminine guy). But most modern online femboys and their enjoyers are fucking awful.

Let’s be real, today’s femboys are mostly lazy, attention-seeking losers who spam ":3", make drinking Monster their entire personality, and offer zero actual depth. When they’ve got nothing else going on, they just sexualize themselves for clout. And don’t even get me started on the huge chunk of them who are 13-17 years old posting leg pics and ass shots so grown men on the internet can jerk off. Does that not sound completely predatory and fucked up to you?

You’d think they’d at least be creative with fashion since there’s no strict dress code like in the alt scene. Nope. Almost all of them wear the exact same cheap Amazon polyester skirt, thigh highs, and oversized hoodie. If you’re gonna break gender norms, at least put in the effort to look original instead of copying the same template.

And as if the lack of style wasn’t bad enough, look at where the term even came from. Long before it turned into this copy-paste internet trope, “femboy” started in the ’90s as straight-up derogatory slang to mock guys who didn’t conform. Then 4chan and porn sites got ahold of it, warped it, sexualized the hell out of it, and cemented it into the culture.

The femboy enjoyers are just as bad. Feeding right into it and fetishize the whole thing even harder. It’s the exact same cycle as those poser goth girls and their simping fanboys all over again.
