My Pancake Failure :(

Typically, i am really good at making pancakes. Anyhow, I thought there were no eggs in the house to make pancakes and so I googled egg alternatives and it told me i could use sparkling water. So I did the recipe just substituting egg for the correct amount of sparkling water and it failed it was arguably the lumpiest thing in the world. It is possible i just did it wrong I suppose. After, I discovered we actually had eggs and made successful pancakes
