My penpal !!!

I’ve been a user of the app called ‘Slowly’ for a good while now and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting looooads of people. Many of which I ended up writing long digital letters to many times. 

Recently though I made a penpal from the same country I live in, just a different city — originally with the intent of practicing the language with him so that I could better speak with the locals, or learn about the culture a bit better… And so on. But he is so very sweet! We’re both studying in the medicinal field so we have lots in common. He writes huuuuge letters, takes his time to respond (which to me is very respectful), and when he does write back he’s always very considerate, very warm with his tone, very polite. 

We have a difference in faith, in the sense that he’s atheist while I’m a practicing Christian. But whenever he has questions to ask me about my faith, he does so in such a respectful manner that I find just awesome. It’s rare to meet people nowadays with such tact and such an ability to handle core differences.

Just wanted to share this because I’ve been pretty happy since I met him. I feel like I’m making a valuable friend and I hope we keep writing to each other! :]
