my phone got taken away 2.0

I was out too late 8pm at a friends house not that far from my house like a 15 min drive and my dad told me I need to tell him where and what time I'm coming back home I told him my friends house at like 6 (told him this at 7am) and he was out till 8 (what my mom said) and I told him I was waiting on him and he decided to take away my phone for not listening which i didn't understand why because I was waiting on him but he wanted me to be like "when u picking me up" when I told him what time is best to be picked up. I'm starting to think my dad is the one not listening and wants everything to be perfect but he doesn't tell anyone what he wants until at the last moment like when he took away my phone he said I want you to tell me when to check in on me to let you know when I'm picking you up, which he has never said to me. But its cool. Now I'm not sure if its lack of communication but I know I told him what time I would be okay with getting picked up which is 6pm before sundown in summer and my mom even heard it and said it Infront of his face. but no idea if he forgot or if something happened (;-;)
