My refresh day!

Alright, I know this is an odd thing to make a blog about, I know no one asked for this but I'll be writing it anyway. In this blog I'll be telling you in detail how I have my full body showers / refresh days. If you're -14 or uncomfortable with people talking about certain personal topics then maybe sit this one out. It's a good way to see what other girls do and maybe it can teach some people out there who weren't thought this by their parents.

If you still have any questions and/or want me to explain something then feel free to PM me!

(If you've already seen this on spacehey.. shhh no you haven't)

In total my full refresh day took 1h 50min. 40 minutes of those were spent in the shower...

I start my refresh day by getting everything ready. Prepare for EVERYTHING (anything can go wrong)

Get yourself some water/ a drink. Maybe even a snack. All of the products you'll need (such as shampoo, conditioner, any body lotion, hair products, face products, ...) a hair dryer, towels, FRESH clothes, ...

It really sucks to be underprepared when you're in a shower.

I start off always by putting a mask on my hair and preparing my body. You can make your own hair mask or just buy it. Prepare your body by cutting your nails and filing your feet. Also I reccomend already brushing your teeth/doing teeth care. If you use fake tan do it now too!!

If theres anything else you do before showering then do this too. Skincare is not needed before you shower since it wont do anything.

IN  THE SHOWER

First start by shampooing your hair 2x. ONLY do it on the roots, focus on there the most. If its not foaming up the 1st time thats OKAY, just make sure you use enough shampoo. I reccomend getting shampoo thats good for your hair, i normally always use curl shampoo since i have curls but try to pick a shampoo that'll benefit your hair.

Make sure you rinse EXTREMELY well the second time. There cannot be any shampoo build up on your scalp at all, this causes dandruff and we don't want that.

Put a large amount of conditioner when you're sure theres no more shampoo on your head. Keep the conditioner in there while you follow my steps:

-I start by shaving, shave your armpits to prevent lingering smell when you sweat. I dont fully shave down under since it irritates me when it grows back. I always just trim slightly to prevent the annoyance of shaving fully. I don't reccomend shaving fully down there, especially if it's your first time shaving. Shave your legs last. I reccomend going over your legs 2 times incase you missed any spots. NEVER shave your arms, belly or ANYWHERE ELSE. Its not nessecary!!!! It only makes things harder for you
(I reccomend using expensive razors. I get less razor bumps when i use those, but you can definitely use cheap ones and get the same result. Don't rush shaving, it'll only cause more razor bumps if you go fast.)

-After shaving I always go in with a exfoliating mitt to try and get the dead skin off. I sometimes use these along with soap, sometimes with no soap, you can choose. Don't rub too hard to prevent irritation. I use this all over my body.

-After this i rinse and use whatever soap i have that smells the best and i just soap in my whole body.

-rinse EVERYWHERE, rinse off the conditioner and put on a leave-in mask before wrapping your hair in a towel.

AFTER THE SHOWER

I start by rubbing lotion everywhere, most of the time lotion that smells really good. After this i wait until the lotion dries to put on my fresh clothes. I put on deodorant and spray some body mist on me.

I follow a curly hair tutorial that fits me best, this takes a WHIILEE... I reccomend fully drying your curly hair with a diffuser, for me this takes up to 50!! minutes to do..

Then finally you can wash your face and do your skincare. I reccomend after this you can put on a face mask and a foot mask. I paint my nails/glue on press ons while i wait. Then i pluck my eyebrows, put on some vaseline on my lips and nails, i put nail oil on my nails too
(both fingernails and toenails) Then finally you're done. omg.

I hope this can help someone out there! This is what I personally do to take care of myself. I do the shower part 1x a week and the things out of the shower almost daily..

I never leave the house without my body mist and without putting perfume on too

Beauty is pain fr...
