need crush advice

So pretty much I met a guy and we totally hit it off but we were in a camp with no phones, of seven days the girls and guys only met twice but one of the girls I was friends with already had his number (nothing romantic) and he asked if he could get my number through her- she hasn't been on her phone in two weeks and I honestly don't know what to do I've called and texted her and I don't know anyone else who knows her.. any ideas? I don't want to lose the chance at a relationship with this guy...
