Ok so basically the new rules are That we can’t have our phones during the day not even at lunch so like when we enter our first period we have to give them our phones and they lock them up and we don’t get them till the end of the day like as somone who doesn’t have friends at school my phone was the only way I could talk to my dad who is basically my therapist and now I can’t talk to him during the worst 7 hours of my life?! And my phone was the only thing I could do during the day was like watch a show on my phone or something and I understand that they where trying to make less distractions during class or something but nobody was using their phones in class in the first place other to like listen to music or something I CANT FUCKING LIVE WITHOUT MUSIC but like I still have Spotify on my school computer even tho they blocked Spotify and Pinterest but like I hacked it to get a vpn that lets me soo ig it might be fine? Also they were gonna ban energy drinks but they didn’t UAYAYAYS and monster is the only thing that keeps me alive during school but yaya whatevs

Yikes, that's a pretty rough rule.
But I hope you could get through this school year and I hope things would go well for you so far.
I hope you could talk your parents to move you out to a nicer school then next school year if things doesn't work out for you.

This seems excessive . Why can't they just let you use them during your free time and then they can impound them if they catch you playing with them during actual class ?

do you think theres a way you could ask for accommodation and tell your school that you need your phone for family stuff and that you wont use it during class? that's what i did
