Not my fault the sidewalks around here suck

I'll admit, I've been kind of a nuisance on the street sometimes with my skateboard. I got honked at again and the driver yelled some...not-nice-sounding things at me as she passed. Not the first time I got in a car's way. When I mention this, you wonder why I don't just ride my skateboard on the sidewalk.

It's because the sidewalks here are TERRIBLE. They slope up and down, they're bumpy, they're all inconsistent surfaces, and some of the sections literally jut an inch up from the rest of the sidewalk. It's hard enough for people on bikes to use the sidewalks, but for those of us who ride skateboards, it's nigh impossible.

So, if these old people in the suburbs want to complain about me being a nuisance and always being in the street, how about we get together and tell the city to fix our sidewalks? They only replace itty bitty sections at a time, usually just because they have to fix a pipe underneath.
