Hey blog,

The alarm went off way too early this morning.

For a minute I just laid there, staring at the ceiling, wondering if I could somehow convince time to slow down. No luck.

So I got up, got dressed, grabbed my headphones, and started getting ready for work.

I'm not going to pretend I wake up excited every single day. Some mornings are harder than others. But once I'm out the door and the day gets moving, it's usually not as bad as I imagined.

Work isn't always exciting.

Sometimes it's busy.

Sometimes it's quiet.

Sometimes the hours seem to disappear, and other times I'm counting down until it's time to head home.

Still, every shift is another chance to learn something, talk to people, and make it through another day.

The best part is knowing that when it's over, I get to come home, turn on the computer, log into SpaceHey, put on my favorite music, and write another blog.

It's funny how a simple routine can become something you look forward to.

So here's hoping today goes smoothly.
