Okay I need a new Roku unit too

I bought this old Roku 2 unit off a dude at a garage sale who told me he used it in college.

He and his roommates must have really wailed on the thing, because holy cow. Not only is it extremely slow, the home menu is bugged to where it keeps forcing me to select the banner advertisement instead of an app. All the major apps stopped supporting it years ago, which I wouldn't mind if it could at least handle my web caster app. Which it literally can't even do that. I tried. It can't even load the beginning seconds of anything streamed from my phone. Hell, this unit is so slow and beat up that it can barely handle running Tubi without crashing. It begs the question, how bad do you have to abuse a Roku that it's functioning this poorly? According to the Disney+ screen, it was only discontinued three-ish years ago.

As of now, all I can do is borrow my parents' Roku 4k streaming stick, but I can't do that forever. My dad loves to binge TV with the streaming stick at night, and we have to use it to watch football nowadays. I thought I could go shopping the next time I'm out with my life coach, but we're going to the fair this week's Friday, and I highly doubt anyone at those booths is gonna be selling Rokus.
