I'm 22, and so many people are trying to make me feel like an OLD WOMAN! What?
And they do it on TikTok... I encounter it there all the time...
In my heart, I've always been 16, okay?!
When I came to this site, I ran into a problem... I can't add people under 18, but there are more of them here than adults... I accidentally added a 13-year-old girl... but my age didn't really bother her. I only talk to her about safe topics and hobbies. Otherwise, I can't talk about anything else.
It puts pressure on me... I'm not hurting anyone, but communicating with people younger than me—is it abnormal... or is it normal?
I don't know... I don't want to be accused of anything later, but who am I supposed to communicate with?

Idk I think it's fine, it isn't against the rules and you aren't doing anything wrong. In my experience if someone that young messages me they usually don't have a whole lot to say and are just bored 😅 It would be nice if there was a way to be mutuals with common interests on this site without it being taken as something overly personal. Like, IRL there's plenty of teens coexisting with adults in the same community, I think that helps break down the perception that 20 year olds are ancient and teens are all morons.

yeah, it happens. most people here are 14-16 y.o, unless u do talk about things you shouldnt with them it's alright, tho i don't really like talking with younger people bc It's just weird for me. (But maybe that's just me?)
This is just the first and last case. All my friends are 18+.

i think it's normal cus u didn't do anything wrong and you're not talking w her in some inappropriate topics.. so yeah ig it's normal
Yes, I immediately asked her if she would be comfortable talking to me... I honestly didn't notice how old she was... When she agreed, I warned her that I would only talk about safe topics. Hobbies, anime, school, and so on.
