omfg is this what rich ppl live like?

i go to this far away school only for one thing, its marine science course. and yesterday was open house which my parents want to go for some reason even if they know basically all my teachers already.. but anyways since i live so far going home and back at 3:00, i would never get there in time. so me and my dad had to stay in that town for 3 hours... so we tried to kill time, we looked up a mall and a movie theatre. we went there and the mall looks fucking dilapidated, like i mean it is legit getting closed in 30 days.. but anyways we go into the theatre and buy the tickets online BUTT we buy the tickets for another theatre by accident and we have to refund the tickets and find something else to do..

EXCEPT THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO DO.. THAT IS THE ONLYYY FUCKING THING THERE BESIDES FROM A PUBLIX.. how do ppl live like this
