I've heard about it before, I've said this before and I'll say it again....

I think the higher-ups who owns MySpace saw the kind of traction websites like "SpaceHey" and this has "FriendRewind" and Video Sharing Website like "KamTape" has been having.

And saw there's great interest on Mid 2000's - Late 2000's Internet Aesthetic and Vibes and I assume they wanted to capitalize on that.
