open letter to jonochan

hi jono ("senior" gigajanny of napochan)

dw, there's no dirt throwing, name calling or other such crap in this blog.  instead, i wanted to divert your attention entirely towards something which you are actively attempting to distance yourself from - david's recent blog (archive) about friendrewind, its founder and his family.

i'm pretty sure a good chunk of people have seen the screengrabs in which you maintain that david is no longer part of the napo moderation team and ergo, his views do not reflect napochan.  i beg to differ.  he's not just some random user - he is a core user of the site, a former moderator.  stripping him of his janny mop doesn't change the fact that he is inextricably tied to the site, and his remarks on his recent blog do reflect on napo as a whole, whether you agree or not.

now this isn't the first time core napo users have used sly underhanded tactics in an effort to push their agendas now, is it?  i mean, we're all privy to rayman's own agendaposting, right?  shit, didn't they get reprimanded by you after only a few days of getting janny knighted?

but i digress.  the fact remains that david made wild insinuations regarding defect's parenting.  this is on a blog where the core anti-friendrewind rhetoric was all about the supposed use of ai in fw's creation.  so where does that remark about defect's parental responsibilities actually fit into things?

answer: it doesn't because it's irrelevant.  

that was a cheap shot, a complete low blow which many people are now perturbed by and if you are genuinely trying to stifle the toxic environment napochan is becoming, i'd start a little closer to home, and not worry so much about all the randos that turn up.  anyway, if you or your napopals wanna debate this shit, this post is wide open for that.

but man.  keep dave on a tight leash, yeah?

bringing ppl's kids into things?  not cool.

on a sidenote, me and spence recently squashed our beef and are totes okay again.  maybe this could be the turning point where napos and rewinders come together and settle their respective beefs.  shit, it's not like it's improbable or impossible.  in fact it's 100% completely doable.  let's do it.  let's end this shitty feud fer good n all.  whaddya say?
