Honestly, I don't think any of this is a good idea.
At first, it was fine. We'd do a bit of graffiti around town, but only in the parts that we knew no one would see often. Then it was light stealing, only a small candy bar or two; maybe three if we were feeling daring and if the store owner wasn't looking.
However, after a while, it started to get worse; the stakes kept getting higher. Soon enough, we were drag racing down the highways and toll roads, trying to win bets and later outrun the cops.
Then one night a friend came up to me and asked if I could help him with something. He said it wouldn'ttake too long and that I'd only really be there to watch, so I agreed.
I couldn't have known what he really meant; he didn't seem the type to do what I will forever be seared into my brain.
I saw it, even through the shadows that were cast by the dim lightbulb hanging from the ceiling: a figure. At first I thought it was a man, maybe a woman or even a child, but no.
Through the shadows that covered the figure's body, I could see their eyes; horrifying eyes. They were swollen, red, and puffy, like they had been crying, but no tears came out. Their hands were splotchy in color, blue in some areas and yellow in others, the two colors mixing together to make green in some areas as well. Up from the hands I saw their arms, skinny and limp, like a beaten animal. A starving, beaten animal. I couldn't help but look further up at the chest. Though they didn't move, their chest was heaving and shaking with every breath they took.
I was stuck there with this creature, a creature, for it was no longer human- body or mind.
I stared at it, and it stared at me, and after a few moments of fear on both of our parts, we both heard a loud banging coming from outside the room. Andr3a
I stumbled back in fear, my head snapping to where the crashing was coming from, while the creature whimpered and squashed its frail body against the cold brick wall it had been standing in front of.
I got curious, tried to open the door with all of my might, but it just jiggled, mocking me.
I looked back at the thing...

Literally just thought this up and wrote it down as I went.
