Peer Helping day 2!

Today I was running kinda late but only like 5-10 mins late. I'm still yet to interact more with the kids, all the teacher has me doing right now is cutting out papers for her but I did try to comfort a kid today that started crying because he didn't want to be at school and he missed his mom. I hugged him and passed him some things that fell out of his folder onto the floor, ugh he's so adorable!! The teacher is kinda harsh on them which I guess I kinda understand but this is 1st grade and like you can say it in many different other ways that wont sound too mean. I wanted to talk to the kids so many times but I didn't want to distract them from learning and I didn't want to get told off by the teacher :( I'm scared of her.. I hope to get more involved with the kids eventually :)
