Will prolly delete this when I’m not mad as hell but who gaf.
I don’t want to talk about my personal shit on here, but I’m a queer person. My parents are (kinda) supportive, however they think that being myself in anyway expressing my sexuality is the worst thing in the world. I’ve had a chat to them about these things, every time they just yell at me for even trying to educate them. Issue is, when you wanna rip off your own skin whenever someone tries to fucking talk to you, it’s quite frustrating.
People also seem to like to pretend like they are an “ally” or whatever but they’ll still support their favourite right wing politicians (cough dad, love him but bruh) and be a dickhead to others. Maybe cause I live in a secluded area with fuckass rednecks I don’t get to experience nice people, but getting treated like an alien by kids at school and shit just cause I don’t fit into a perfect image is ass, especially cause I can’t control these things.
It’s often a matter of “wait until you’re 18, it’s really not that far away (I’m 15)”, but when this is something that affects everything you do, it feels like a long time. To know that I’m just out of reach of a comfortable body because my parents don’t listen to me sucks so bad.
I get this genuine feeling like my heart is trying to escape from the cage that cradles it. This flesh prison is not mine and I don’t know if I can deal with it anymore.
Please, if anyone can help in any way, or just relate, let me know. I appreciate it and hope you’re all good. :’]

i can very much relate, my mom always makes faces when i try to talk sbout queer stuff, one time i was just mentioning lesbians and she didn't want my 5yo brother to hear, that was weird. Like ma'am that kid is obsessed with clothes and shoes, he wore your heels when he was like 3, wanted to get his nails painted and plays more with girls than with boys. I think he can handle lesbians.
Anyway bro it's gonna get better, my mom yelled at me a lot when she discovered i was trans, i've been trans for almost two years and now she passively accepts it at least. It's just a matter of time.
Appreciate it bro, hope everythings goin well. Very much agreed with the brother, if kids can learn about straight people then they should be able to learn about gay people as well. Kids will just accept that some people are different to themselves and move on.
My mum yelled at me too haha, and cried. I've known almost my whole life and only told her about a year ago, and yeah I'm just hoping she'll understand eventually. :]
