My cousin goes to ballet. So today they were actually in a play(?)! Most of my family had been invited to watch. Even though they weren't the 'main' cast they were still AMAZING.
Though that isn't the focus of this rant.
Ballet is possibly the most beautiful movement ever. The way they move, and jump is impossibly beautiful. I've never been as mesmerized, the way the colours lay on the figures, how the dresses fall and spin as they move and jump, is something my heart cannot describe.
The colours move so simply and complexly at the same time. How they shine, how the whole of the figure moves to the music.Β
The colour that glides along the stage as the music plays. The presicion, the talent, the strength to make something complex look so, simply beautiful.
I feel like I'm good at feeling stuff but not saying words lol.

as a ballerina, i literally loved reading this. you put into words how i feel dancing perfectlyy, ballet is such an underrated art form, it's so much hidden strength that is presented so gracefully

It really is a beautiful art form and I donβt think I would take advantage of that.
