pet peeve that doesn't matter at all but kinda does

ok like why do people use like. the most eyestraining backgrounds they could ever choose and then make the text color not contrast with the background??????????????? like at all??????????????????????????????????? or sometimes they make the text color the same shade as the one in the background and now it's just actually unreadable. I don't really mind bright colors and chaotic profile designs, but it's just that I can't. read anything you wrote without squinting my eyes or burying my phone to my face. Just PLEASEE make the color of the text contrast with the background. PLEASEEE on my knees begging PLEASEEE

or maybe i'm just misunderstanding something at a cultural level and MySpace profiles used to look like that back in the day?? IDK it still annoys me lmao

You are so right I've been struggling to find a background I love and people can actually read what I put. My background right now is making me angry but I literally can't find another I like and I'm tired of trying to find a color that worksssss or maybe I'm slow and the answer to this is obvious but still </333 I'm trying not to settle for some simple one but I'm about to bc it's so annoying

i honestly think the background you're using rn looks pretty cool! it's just the white borders of the image that make it hard to read in some parts of the interests table. just as a suggestion, but maybe you could edit the image and crop the white borders just a bit so the black center of the image covers the background more? if i'm not making any sense u can tell me lol
