Say less than you want to. You’ll almost never regret the thing you didn’t say. The clever joke, the correction nobody needed, the opinion you weren’t asked for- most of it is useless. The wait before speaking is where most regret gets avoided. People rarely come home wishing they’d spoken more. They wish they had shut up a bit. Don't let your mouth cost you.
