Phone v.s mp3 player

My first day of school was a few months ago. Ok so I have my phone ofc because last year I would use my phone for music. This year though, they gotten stricter with the phone policy so then decided to bring an mp3. However, they can take that away aswell. My mp3 is held by a lanyard and they're decorated (fiilo snowsky echo nano) I thought my mp3 player would be the one to be taken away first because it was pretty obvious but nah. Just two weeks ago during lunch, I pulled my phone out show and then the school deed teleported somehow. Usually, they would just make you put it back in your bag but again, they gotten stricter so the lady said either I can hand it to her, or I can walk with her to the student office. Aight my phone was taken away but honestly I'm surprised she didn't take my mp3 player along with it. My headphones were pretty visible and it's clear that my mp3 player was connected to it.  I mean my model is small but still, it's clear. But I should be glad. I've been a lot more careful now and been using different techniques to hide my headphones too. (It is that serious. I don't play about my music) I can't really blame them though because I'm in a academic place and I'm supposed to learn.
