Endless glares from a world so cruel,
And a heart so pure, it's hard to bear,
Yet the goal remains, a priceless jewel,
Hope emerges from the world's despair.
Adversaries lying left and right,
The odds diming through the night,
Still through the night, I'll bravely fight,
Until my heart sees the beaming light.
Every year, a seed is sown,
A strong will that is meant to grow,
Every victory, every achievement known,
Was once a shimmering wish from below.
Thanks for reading!
When writing this poem, I was just scribbling on my poetry junk book. I really like the meaning of this poem, like it shows resilience and strong will. One thing I don't like about this poem is it's rhyming scheme, it's a bit off somehow. I still like it though!
