Old controversy surrounding Flamingo has been circulating quite a bit recently and I'm honestly not sure why everyone is still so upset when people defend him. Like yeah, obviously the things he was saying wasn't ok -ESPECIALLY if he was posting it on the internet- but as far as I've heard, he was a teen and still in school at the time. What he was saying is far less offensive than what I normally hear on a daily basis at my school. Everyone saying 'well he should have known better then to be saying all of that' clearly aren't around enough people in high school. Most teenagers aren't completely aware of what their words can do to people, coming from a teenager myself.

PLUS it was around the earlier 2000 at that time where that humor was normalized and encouraged, especially on the internet. He's apologized many times and obviously matured from it and has stated that he is ashamed of his actions on that old account. It is only recently resurfacing after years of it never being brought up. Be mad at him and don't watch him all you want, but I think comparing him to pedophiles and individuals who have actively harmed people isn't an entirely fair argument.
