Post about my vacation!! (Gran Canaria as destination)

So the vacay with my friends started the moment I went to my boy-besties home, too early like I always am. But in my defense I did not know that he went swimming with his mom, and he arrived 10 minutes later than me. Our other bestie arrived 20 minutes later, cuz her mom just got the car starting too late. 

We made us food, played some mario kart, talked a lot, and started watching Love Island Germany (the 2nd season). Our flight was scheduled for the next morning 6 o'clock or smth and his mom drove us at 3:30am to the airport. None of us got some sleep for the whole night. Very dumb, we should've just gone to sleep after mario kart 🙏

It was my first time flying with an airplane and we got through everything so so quick, I really thought security would have been at least over 10 minutes but it was just 2 minutes each (with packing/unpacking everything from the tray). Flight was also very good, played some uno with my friends and did mostly watch a show or did picross on my tablet. 

Because our flight was so early we were already on Gran Canaria at 10am around, and we could check in at 2pm then. In the meantime we went something to eat, and waited in the lobby. I was so done with everything atp, no sleep for nearly 24h. After we could check in we stayed for a moment in the room and went exploring the hotel after that. I can't remember if we went on that same day to the pool, I think so at least. After dinner I fell so quickly asleep my friends also made a piccie of me, don't ask 😭

The 2nd day we were at the pool, got then to the beach (we were there just once, kinda sad tbh) and omg the waves were so big sometimes loll. After that we went to the pool again and had dinner at 08:30pm. Every other day we mostly chilled at the pool, we did go out to a mall eventually in I think Puerto Rico, and the taxi ride was so expensive but I got myself a nice dress! On our last day (one day before our departure flight) we walked 1.30h to a lighthouse and some dunes (I was a bit done after the big walk so I didn't go with them to the dunes, but had a ride back to the hotel). 

The departure flight was nice, I read some pages of my book, did some picross and tried to sleep for a bit. The only thing we couldn't decide was that we couldn't sit together but it was not too bad for me. Our guy bsf was very upset after the flight that he couldn't sit with us but I didn't mind that. 

So my overall experience was very pleasant but I will never ever drink any sip of sangria cuz too much of that sets me in a coma (/j but seriously don't drink kids it's not good💀). We stayed at Playa del Ingles and it was a nice area. I would rate this trip a 9/10 and I don't think I'll make a trip with my friends that soon together again, because my social battery wouldn't appreciate it.
