Poverty Posing

Idk how it is in other parts of the world, but I’ve noticed a pattern in America. People are just straight larping being hood. Like do you know how fuckin weird that is??? The hood is a poor area filled with people who are struggling. Why the hell would anyone wanna seem like they’re from that kind of area? The rich white boys whose daddy owns two fucking Porsches look so fucking weird when they do this. You’re not Eminem, you’re not a white Tupac, you don’t know the struggle. People in those situations DONT want to be in those situations, they don’t treat it like an aesthetic. It’s a lifestyle that they can’t escape safely. You live in a nice house, you’ve never worried about if you were gonna eat dinner or lunch or at all that day, you’ve never had to worry about if you were going to get murdered on the way to the gas station. Why are we larping shitty situations? As someone who has always lived in areas like this and has frequently experienced these situations, you just look stupid. We all think you look dumb as fuck. It’s not an aesthetic, it’s poverty.
