They can't feel anything, its literally like you're killing a germ. And what gets me is when they try and say 'ohhhh but if it was a cat!!' YEAH no shit an insect and a mammal are 2 completely different terms of sentience. Now I get if people don't like killing endangered species, obviously. But somebody killing a roach in their house is not hurting the bug population, I can assure you. In fact, some are literally invasive and it's actually a good thing to kill them! You aren't morally superior for taking it outside, where it will just die anyway
