what happened to DIY ? why do i see people just making random statements and larping leftism on tiktok ??

i see people posting lip-sync videos to the song "its okay to punch nazis" and i feel like this song was made by some fed trying to downplay leftism as a whole. or maybe the song is just... bad. the cia is known 4 doing this, so it wouldnt b crazy 2 think so.

why do people buy anything from hot topic ? why r we supporting shein ? i get that youre broke, and i am too. but it doesnt hurt 2 steal something from a store or somethin like that idk.

in the end, capitalism is the reason 4 all of this. punk was built from people who didnt fit in, who went to "sexy" stores to get their fishnets and went to pet stores just for collars. now, its turned into BUY BUY BUY. a subculture made from being against capitalism 2 another corporate style selling things 2 u. its ironic 2 see shirts with communist and anarchist imagery on shein and other fast fashion places.

fast fashion has taken over punk, and its no longer the counter-culture it used to be.
