quit my job b4 i could get fired

relating to my last blogpost, i quit my job! my friend quit it right before, she dropped all her shifts on our scheduling app and sent a message saying "pick up my shifts, i quit" and i just did the same thing, dropped all my shifts and said "pick up my shifts, i also quit :D" (the :D was very important). I wonder if my shitty manager will get the hint that he's doing something wrong to have two people in a row quit, and before that even several people quit, a manager transferred, another WALKED OUT! and a third just disappeared (either quit or transferred idk). nobody likes him. 

i feel free but also afraid now that i'm unemployed and having to look for another job, i applied and was reached out to about working as a cook in my local university's student center. I've never professionally worked in a kitchen but i do know how to cook, prepare stuff, & i'm safeserv certified. my best friend works there as a night clerk, i kind of hope i can get the same hours as her. I can't drive (currently learning to) so my dad used to drop me off and pick me up from my fast food job, but the university is so close its only a 15 minute walk & a relatively safe neighborhood. my friend also lives close but a little out of the way, so if we do get the same shift we're planning on calling each other on our way home or at least setting up some kind of check in system.

i'm surprised i lasted there as long as i did, and i know there's going to be asshole coworkers everywhere, but for me to be so stressed i literally made myself ill, the minimum wage pay was not worth it. i have to update my resume nowwuhhhh. wish me luck
