- The idea of raw meat disgusts me to the point of sustained nausea. The sight of raw beef makes me sick to my stomach.
- Beef is my favorite red meat. If someone were to put it and another red meat next to each other, I wouldn't be confident in seeing the difference between them.
- But could I taste it either?
- To discern the muscle fibers from the flesh. The short hairs stabbing my throat, searing taste of blood. I'd recognize this disgust. Right? I can only trust that this cold slab of once warm flesh is what I've decided to think it is.
- The knife will pass through it the same as it would a buck or a human.
