Risk with Reward

I’m so proud of your new position, honey. I’m so proud of me for choosing you, just like picking my favorite shell that I collected on the beach when I was fourteen years old, then I left the rest like I got my rank.

And so I put you on the top, ’cause the more precious the thing is, they’ll do anything to keep it theirs.

So hop on this Titanic, honey. Don’t care about going back, we’re here. Even if this ship somehow wrecks, then let it fucking wreck.

We don’t have to look out for supplies, or someone to ask for help, or a boat to keep us afloat on the ocean, or a compass to know where to go correctly.

We’re really here. The flip is once in a lifetime. The ocean is ours. The cold is luxurious. The glow in your eyes is firework-mesmerizing.

Don't care if you break the dishes, you can make beautiful patterned ceramics and put it in your future just like a history and say it’s the reward of the risk.

At the time when I looked at your back, then you turned back, I was thinking you were the giver and I was the catcher.

And there's no time to turn back. ’Cause Cupid was never wrong in shooting. I just never really brave enough to catch the arrow, but now it’s in my grasp, full circle, skin untouched by a pierce that might bleed.

Hop on this Titanic, honey. Don’t care about going back, we’re here. Even if this ship somehow wrecks, then let it fucking wreck.

We don’t have to look out for supplies, or someone to ask for help, or a boat to keep us afloat on the ocean, or a compass to know where to go correctly.

“We never meant to be sailors,” they said. “We'll never know how to survive,” they said. But we know how to love — what can they say? We meant to be lovers since the first shot — that's what makes us still survive.

To choose each other, just like choosing the right goalkeeper. And it’s been weeks — other ships were calling, but I let it pass ’cause he’s sleeping on my thigh.

And I don’t wanna wake him up, ’cause it’s somehow luxurious.

The risk is once in a lifetime. The want is mine. The move in my heart is battle-jet-mesmerizing.

Don't care if there’s a risk with reward out there — this man is my risk with no reward for love that does truly kill — a sacrifice seems like a perfect deal.

Don't care if you break the dishes, you can make beautiful patterned ceramics and put it in your future just like a history and say it’s the reward of the risk.
