“GUYS!!! This is the best house lets go!!” yelled nova as she gestured to her best friends, ivan and cassidy. “Wait for me skullcandy!!” Called out ivan as he stumbled to catch up “hey! I told you to stop calling me by headphone names!!!” complained nova “pleaseee guys slow down!!!” cried out Cassidy, the slowest of the trio. They all scurried to the last house on their route. “trick or treat!!!!” chanted the trio when the home owners answered the door. “Oh my god!!” chimed in a voice with a valley girl accent. “I tots love yall’s fits!” The valley girl was their favorite teenager,Tiffany! “We have nova the vampire! Cassidy the alien. And…. I'm sorry who are you supposed to be, Ivan?” ivan looked down at his costume offended and looked tiffany up and down. “Dude! Im dr.Egon Spengler from ghostbusters! Its a classic!!” Tiffany finished giving them their candy and sent them off “bye guys!! I'd totally like to see you later like totally!!” 

“I CAN’T believe she didn't know who i was!” complained Ivan as they walked down the street back to the park. “I mean ghostbuster is a classic!!” Ivan plopped down on the bench “I mean,dude,you did choose the one movie people dont watch anymore to dress as” replied Cassidy as she sat down on the grass, fiddling with her space blaster from spirit halloween. “Excuse me.” Ivan glared daggers at Cassidy and looked back at Nova “can you BELIEVE HER???” Nova looked around as if asking. Me? You’re talking to me? “I guess.. But, im hungry lets get some food” 

They all went to the food truck in the park and got their halloween themed smash burgers. But then they realized their candy was missing! The three had left their candy on the bench, and when they got back it was gone!!!!! “NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!” cried out cassidy tumbling down to her knees like if she was the lead star in a telenovela. “Our hard earned candy!! It's all gone!!” Ivan and Nova looked at each other in pure confusion. How could someone steal 3 full bags of candy in a few minutes? “How is this even possible??” Nova said as she waved her arms around like a lunatic, her cape flailing around behind her dramatically. “We were gone for like, what? 3 minutes?” Ivan started looking around everywhere. Under the bench,in the trees, in the trash cans, EVERYWHERE. “I promised my mom to bring her some candy! What am I going to do??” whined Ivan as he kept looking desperately. Suddenly, Nova had an idea, a great idea. “GUYS!! Let's go ask the kids in our neighborhood if they’ve seen anything!” Cassidy finally stood up from the patch of grass she was dramatically laying on. “Okay. lets go then” 

As they walked down the street they noticed a group of kids had a suspicious amount of candy. Too much candy. “Guys” whispered Ivan “let's go ask them if they saw anything or took anything” the three tried to walk nonchalantly but let's be honest, they are the polar opposite of nonchalant. One kid from the group whispered to their little friend “who are these nerds lol”   ‘why did he say lol out loud?’ thought the trio visibly cringing at that. They kept walking towards them. “Hey guys.. We just wanted to ask you something” explained cassidy as stepped in front of ivan and nova. “Is that so?” replied the leader of the posse, Scott. Everyone called him ‘Scotty’, for a lot of reasons that will not be named. “Yes, we wanted to ask if you know what happened to our candy. It's missing” replied Nova. “Are you sayin’ we took it?” Scotty gave them a nasty glare, clearly offended at the accusation. “Yes- OW!” Ivan was cut off by Cassidy. Who stepped on his foot to shut him up. “I mean no…” Ivan said whincing. “Well.. we didn't take it!” argued Scotty. “Then why do you have so much candy?” remarked Nova. Gesturing to their candy bags. “You really want to know?” asked a kid in Scotty's gang. “Yes” said the trio at the same time. “We changed costumes and went to every house twice!” blurted out scotty, he finally cracked. There was a really pregnant pause, the air felt heavy for some reason. “Dang.. i wasnt expecting that..” said ivan as he finally broke the agonizing silence. “We.. we’re gonna go..” said cassidy as the trio started to walk away. 

“Why was that so awkward??” complained nova. Burrinng her head in her hands. “We were so confident it was them” grimiced ivan, that whole interaction to them was so cring worthy. Cassidy sighed, “i guess scotty doesnt know..” ivan turned to cassidy and said “you know what i was thinking? I thought that scotty did it but no…But no! We were so wrong. That was so embarrassing” the trio kept walking down the street back to the park where they were sitting earlier.  Then they found another group of kids. It was jenny and her little followers, they were all streaming on tiktok live. “Hiiii joshuaaaaa” who is joshua??? Thought the trio, no really who is joshua? “Hi jenny.” deadpanned nova. jenny was that rich girl in every teen movie, expect she wasnt rude or mean or cruel. Shes just annoying and out-of-touch, everyone has a jenny in their life. “Oh my god!! Hiii guys!! Say hi to fans!” jenny turned her phone towards the three and they waved awkwardly out of politeness. “Jenny.. Uhm did you see anyone take our candy?” asked cassidy “noooo… sorry guys!! Why dont you ask your maid to look for it?” “maid??” said the trio in perfect sync, they all glared at eachother. “Yeah!! Do you guys not have a maid?” oh jenny, the girl you are. “No jenny! We dont! But are you sure none of your followers have seen it?” said ivan flailing his arms around like a crazy person. Cassidy once joked that when hes stressed the only difference between someone in a mental facility and ivan was that he was outside, ivan did not apreciate that.
