Routine Maintenance.

The body needs basic daily maintenance in order to survive.

The list of daily tasks are as follows:

- Eating

- Drinking Water

- Showers

- Stretching

Doing these daily ensures proper survival in both social and physical standpoints. To say its simple to do would be... incorrect.

That is what must be done in its most simplified way but there's more to it than that.

A more detailed list is as follows:

- Cooking Meals

- Taking Medicine

- Brushing Teeth

- Clipping Nails

- Brushing/Upkeeping Hair

- Skin Care

- Keeping a Pleasant Scent

Seeing all of it listed out like this makes it almost overwhelming. Where do you start? How does it end? How long does it take? Do you have to do this for as long as you have the body?

Its difficult to remember it all, keep all the products in stock. Money is another thing you must manage but that's a whole other discussion.

Some days its so much its difficult to even leave the bed. The body feels heavy, like the muscles and skin are rotting off the bone, there's nothing you can do but lay and wish you didn't have a form anymore. Not to mention the physical pain that you have to just ignore.

On days that are not so bad, though, you must catch up on it. That's what i had to do last night.

I realized I haven't had a day that I did my personal maintenance in a while. A day to just appreciate the flesh. After I woke up from a nap, I ate something I had prepared beforehand, then I put makeup on the face. With no place to go, I dressed up in my favorite clothes and sat around the house. I listened to music, looked at the body in the mirror, and liked the flesh I had seen. I really needed a night like that. I need a day where I can go out dressed up. I should clarify, I really enjoy Goth fashion and makeup, I'm not dressing the body in a sultry dress or a nice suit, I'm simply dressing how I enjoy.

I made the decision that later this week, on my day off, I'm going to dress up on my trip to the library. Going to the library has been a new hobby I've picked up recently. I like reading in a nice place and being surrounded by people without having to talk to them makes me feel at ease. This week, though, I plan on going to one of the events they have there. The "Writers Guild." I'm assuming its a creative writing group, I've been really wanting to get back into such things, so I hope this will be good for me.

Until next time! ଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ̀ˋ.
