Rui and The Layout Predicament

It's not been long since I started my account on this platform. Back then, I found this platform from a comment on a Pinterest post, and I got interested because they said we could customize our layouts. Not many people, at least in my country and city, are aware of this platform.

I was immediately intrigued and signed up to make an account. Then, after looking around, I immediately went to code my own layout. I encountered lots of errors, and it took me about 2 hours to get the exact look I wanted while staring at the IDE Live Preview.

But it didn't change at all, no matter how many times I tried to trick it. Worse, the layout disappeared, and the code I'd been working on wasn't saved.

It was so frustrating to have to do it all over again that I literally spent a whole night working on it until morning.

In the end, I gave up, accepted my fate, and made the layout again using the visual builder instead. That's how I got my current layout now.

This made me learn that sometimes, not everything can be forced to work out. There comes a time when we have to admit that all the effort we've put in might be in vain, and just stop.

Unacceptable, but tragically unavoidable
