Sevetha, and when she walks by dawn
The newborn sun cannot compare
And delays to wake and yawn
Until after she has gone
Sevetha, and when she walks by day
Flowers turn away in shame
For they cannot compare to her beauty
That blossoms in the burning noon
Sevetha, and when she walks by twilight
The stars do not shine so bright
For they are dimmed by the light
That shines from her eyes
Sevetha, and when she walks by night
The darkness melts and hides away
For nothing can touch her
This lady of love and light
Sevetha, and when she walks among them
The kings of men all stop and stare
For riches and kingdoms and mortal queens
Cannot hope to compare
Sevetha, and when she walks at the end of the world
While the earth is shaken apart
As the fires burn and mountains quake
And the skies are rent asunder
She takes my hand
And the end stops for a moment
So she may kiss me a final time
Standing on a lush green Earth
Underneath a clear blue sky
