We do NOT like school
I think that's a given, really
No child likes school, every system has at least one fatal flaw that throws the fragile harmony of a child's brain into anarchy. And safe to say, our school has many.
We are off for this week and half of next as we are in a different country for a much-needed break, which means that we are missing a fatal amount of school as far as our teachers are concerned - as we are held to a much high standard, being a top student in most of our classes.
And aside from the time off that sets our classes into a compromised position, we have to deal with a 13-hour time-shift plus jetlag, which safe to say, isn't fun. The minor-most amount of time that a person our bodily age would require to recover from that much of a body-clock shift is a week of strict rest - we are graced with only a day.
And to add on to these previous statements, we have a letter and foretold confrontation with our ex waiting for us when we get back. Needless to say once more, we do not wish to merely acknowledge the very existence of this man.
And, serving as the final crack in the marble podium that holds our consciousness aloft, we are arguably the most bullied being in our school, throwing the final nail in our coffin. Again, we do not favour these circumstances.
And so, through hallucinations, delirium, bullying and trauma responses galore, we are still expected to uphold the crumbling pantheon of our grades.
Needless to say, life would be an abundance easier if we were as I am as an alter - long past collage.
Regards, Lanyon
