My school was just at a festival at a nother school, and I saw so many cool people, and I wanted to befriend at least a few people from the other schools that where there, but I lowkey got too scared to I didn't :/ even though they seemed super sweet, I dont know why its so scary to go up to those people. And almost all my friends from my school got friends even on the first day, and me and my roommates where just way to scared. Lol

omg i relate to this to much XD i think that we expect rejection to be so much worse than it really is like with making friends i dont think anyones ever said like "ew no i dont wanna be your friend" you usually just find out later in the relationship if you want to be friends or not
in my expirence to people coming up to my old friend group we were all very nice until they gave us a reason to not be or they just didnt fit the vibe and usually they catch on to that and ends up leaving anyway
i think that most regrets in life come from saying no :D
That is actually such a good way to think about it!! I think most of us know they aren't just gonna be mean or anything, but we still expect that to be the case:>
