2. The Plague by Albert Camus
3. Othello by William Shakespeare
4. The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare
5. The Tempest by William Shakespeare
Loki: Where Mischief Lies ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
As a big fan of Marvel or any superhero media such as DC, I thoroughly enjoyed this book as it a very great, descriptive and creative piece on the Loki as an individual but also with family dynamics.
I think the author had done a really good job on describing Loki's feelings, troubles accurately enough to be canon.
This book is particularaly about Loki being desperate to prove himself to his family but most importantly his father, Odin. During the book, everyone, even his pwn father starts to suspect that he is the villain and evil, especially after Odin saw the 'future' which consisted of Loki turning his back of Asgard.
After unfortunate events happened, someone dear to him is banished to earth, mysterious murders happen on earth leading Odin to send Loki down to investigate while cowering under his brother, Thor's shadow.
During the story, Loki finds his power and who he was really meant to be and what his family have really done.
The Plague ★★★★☆
The Plague was the perfect book for September and I also related to it a hefty amount!
There is a town called Oran who have discovered a plague that has took over the town which was from rats as expected. After this discovery, everyone is forced to quarantine which lead to peoples own demise and deaths. This leads to doctors in the town to try to find the cure or cause of the plague which is seen as the resistance to evil from others depictions, after the Nazi occupation in France.
Othello ★★★★☆
If you like dark stories filled with betrayal, jealousy and manipulation.. warning for prejudices aside from that.
Othello who is a respected Moorish General marries Desdemona secretly even though her father disproves of it, Othello soon promotes one of his men, Cassio but that had lead to the jealousy of Lago who is an ensign. Lago begins to plan to destroy Othello.
Lago speaks to Othello about a 'supposed' affair that his wife is having with Cassio, consumed by jealously and blinded by anger, Othello murders his wife but soon Othello finds out Lago lied and therefore he killed himself before Lago is taken for punishment.
The Comedy of Errors ★ ★ ☆☆☆
Not even going to spend my time speaking about this LOL, racist comedy about slavery and stuff, wasn't funny to me ANYWAY.
The Tempest ★★★☆☆
A very magical play I would say, it is mainly about a sorcerer who is named Prospero and is banished and creates a storm that looms over his enemies on a remote island, Prospero plans to take his revenge against them and claim his status.
I think this play is very interesting as I have read bits of forgiveness, power and revenge which I have seen in a quite a few of his plays!!!!
I don't think I have anything else to say but unfortunately I have not read this much this month, I have read one book and I have started my second... blame work.
okay bye, love y'all!
