Do you guys think that serial cheaters can change?
I've recently found out a devastating news about my SO, turns out he's been sleeping with another girl in the entirety of our relationship. It has only been 3 months in, before we've made it official, he had other hook ups. Maybe that was already a cue for me to not be with him, but I've proceeded to establish a relationship with him. I've ruled it out so many times that we are exclusive and monogamous. He'd agree every time.
My SO has a past of cheating on his ex-girlfriend before us; I don't know what made me think I would be an exception in the slightest bit. I've got a text from a girl I don't know on Instagram on Saturday 4:00pm staring with "Heyy I know you don't know me but..." we all know what that means. Long story short he's been having a girl over at his place at least once a week since we ever started dating, he had never stopped sleeping with her. No wonder why he would always come to my place and never invite me over to his. They had sex on a regular basis unprotected; I really wanted to skin myself alive while listening to the girl's story over the phone. I've had my suspicion long before, but I wanted to believe in love. Do I sound too naive?
I've talked to him when I first found out but I was too swarmed up in my emotions. He kept on saying that I'm the one who he wants to be with, to have a life together. That'll everything can be fixed and he'll stop. I know it's all textbook responses of a person who'll commit adultery again. If I stay, he'll cheat again because he was never monogamous in the first place. Right...? This has altered my brain chemistry, I genuinely thought this person would be different. Are they able to change?

he will cheat again. no it’s not a 50/50 chance. the chance of him not are less than one, surely. saying the stuff like he “wants only you” is essentially trying to butter you up hoping you’ll stick around and be naive.
if you stay with him, now he knows that you’ll tolerate cheating and the best he might do is try to be better at hiding it -but he might even stop trying… since you made an exception once…
if a person wants to be loyal and honest, they will. he’s already disrespected you and lied. please do not fall for the facade. he’s already clearly shown you who he is. the satisfaction one gets from sexual acts or getting away with something they shouldnt be doing is addictive.

Obviously no, they will not change and whoever acts like him will never change either, you 100% have to end the relationship this is way past the finish line and will never become real love

Hm, I really don't know what to say to be honest.
I'd say it's a 50/50 Chance to be honest.
But I think, uh.... Maybe not really but I don't know.
