should i rethink my future plans?

So like..after high school, I plan to go to air force basic training and then college when the military can pay for my college tuition for law school. But...I don't know if I'll be happy.

On one hand, I could just serve reserves for four years and go to law school but I want to experience being dumb in college in my early twenties. On the other, I could just do acting. No air force.

See, I recently saw Spiderman Brand New Day and thought "it'd be so cool to be spiderman" and I only thought that because of what Peter Parker felt throughout the movie. What Tom Holland made Peter Parker feel. Made me feel in the theater. I want to make people feel the realness in emotion people in movies bring to the audience.

But for years since covid I've been thinking realistically. I've been thinking "a lawyer is great money" not how I can make an audience feel in a theater or on their couch. I want to play dumb character like Rachel Green or Ted Mosby that makes people yell at their TV, or a complex villain like Homelander that you hate but feel bad for.

I don't know what to do, can anyone help me?

ALWAYS go for what ur most passionate about. doing a job for "great money" isnt enough motivation to actually pursue it, and youll get burntout way quicker and end up just hating it.

but im also really young so whadda i know? dont trust my answer that much </3
