About a year ago, I gave my college aged sister my old Nintendo Switch because I bought a Switch 2. She was very excited at my gift. With it, I gave her the Joy-Cons, my Pro Controller (something I regretted, I have a modded Wii U and like using it to play Wii U Games), and 4 physical games: Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Mario Party, Animal Crossing, and Smash Bros (something I also regretting giving her).
Anyway, cut to today, my family is moving her out, and she left it in her dorm, so we go to pick it up. My sister (twin, not the college one) had to climb through the window, and the college one was hanging out with friends.
The room is in disarray and smells like piss. Multiple shot glasses on the floor, and a list of things to do included a lotta blacking out.
The Switch was plugged in, as were the Joy-Cons, but the rest was scattered in various drawers. The Pro Controller was there, as was Smash Bros. Well, just Smash Bros, not the case. The case was separate. Super Mario Party was in tact, and Switch Sports was in the Switch itself, but Animal Crossing. First off, the case was Sharpie’d on. Yay. Secondly, the cartridge was deep in a drawer.
Now, I’m overexaggerating, yeah? I’m being possessive of my games, right? However, I gave her it for free, and she potentially ruins the cartridges and AC’s case. I genuinely feel like I’m saving a dog from a shelter, if that dog didn’t breathe and instead played Overcooked!
