i told the dentist i liked her hair but i forgot im ugly as hell so she was probably offended. i gave her the bib thing cuz she forgot to take it and she was like "thank youu" (emphasis on the lowercase here) then i said 'i like yer hair' (because i have a stupid accent) and she was like "thank youu" (exact same way, she repeated her voice line at me ☠️) and said NOTHING else
i cant even present as female yet around here, and now i gotta go back there next week. lord have mercy im such a failure what the hell i thinking. im there to get my UGLY ASS TEETH done. im not even trying to flirt or anything i was just in a good mood and wanted to be kind, mayeb say something to make her smile idk. she was a black girl too so i was comfortable TOO COMFORTABLE!!! i dress stupid too, god damn!!!! i have no clothes so il probably show up in the same fit i hate my stupid broke ass. i feel like such a dork , please tell me im normal and not a dimwit

so i don’t know crap about your dentist, but based on what u wrote im gonna give her a polite ‘fuck you’ for being so dismissive about ur compliment. even if someone that wasn’t conveniently attractive (which is bullshit,i think everyone is beautiful) complimented me, i would be jumping for joy bruh. u js gotta go back in there with confidence and compliment her again, and if she’s rude abt it again then she js sucks

I don't see why you can't give people compliments? I've never received a compliment that was offensive unless it was like backhanded or they said it in a weird tone. I am a bit awkward so I say thank you and then I run away lol I'm sure she appreciated it.
