Small realization

My like only alt friend who i have that is my age and goes to my school isnt acutally alt (fashion or music wise), they just have blue hair and thats it

They're not into alt bands/fashion, they mostly listen to Sza and wear tanktops and sweatpants 24/7 which they do shop from shein/temu, they just have blue hair and thats it

Now their mostly liberal political views line up with mine and im really glad and happy for that and fr thats all that really matters, if ur alt and conservative then guess what? Your not alt/punk/grunge/goth, ur just some bitch who tends to wear black from time to time and buys shitty shein fashion

But we went into a few alt stores but they wanted to go into target instead and ive been riding in their car more often and all they listen to is steve lacy and sza (which is fine if u do) and i think i finally realized that they are indeed not alt,(fashion or music wise)

I would just like someone more like me irl, yk someone who likes the same bands/music as me, someone who likes to go thrifting instead of target but whatever, obviously no hate to my blue haired friend, just so many normies dying their hair and claiming to be alt
