Some good shit from last weekend

Saturday, 8/15/2026: I had a scheduled job interview at a Safeway, not far from home, in the morning, and just a few hours back, I had just finished practicing driving at some parking lot (don't have my license yet :') ). Anyway, I had a nice conversation with the manager, and near the end, she told me she was going to give me a job offer and the process of going through with it as soon as I accepted it. Mind you, this was my fifth job interview in a span of 4 months, and I always had a feeling I would get rejected the next week.

However, not long after I got back home (again), I got an email from the store company and as soon as I clicked it, all I saw was that I was given the offer. You can't imagine how much I felt excited over a given opportunity that I have been waiting for years, applying for entry-level job positions at different places and sometimes, even calling them to let them know I applied, only to not get a callback. I would always get disappointed about it, but I knew at those times, I had to focus on high school and maintain at least a decent grade, or better, in all of my classes.

But, now that I had gotten the offer, I immediately accepted the offer and went through most of the process. I'm just waiting for a callback to finish the process, and start scheduling for my training day :) .

Also, I checked out my tomato plants on that day, and I saw two of my growing tomatoes, from one of my tomato plants, turning more of a red-orange color from the bottom, despite still being small. The second and third tomato plant is still growing and flowering, no tomatoes yet.

Sunday, 8/16/2026: Nothing much happened that day, just a chill and boring day for me. However, last night, I did finish a beat that I have worked on non-consecutively since April of this year, and fuck... I love this one! Personally my favorite of the year, along with a few other ones I've made :P .

Anyway, Ima be busy for the next few weeks, with college and my first job. Will still be making music though, so stay tuned for those interested!
