Some of my favourite memories

I am unsure of when exactly these happened I just know it was years ago, but its fine, and these will be categorized by houses, old house means birth - 10yo current house means 11yo- current, because that's how I remember things. Most are from old house.

It snowed in March one year and we got the day off school so we went to my friends house and we all played in the snow together and her brother chased me around the church until I couldn't breathe, that was fun. (old house)

We were playing Activity Junior (you either act out, describe, or draw a word depending on which space you land, and if your partner guesses it, you get however many points are on the card, theres also a timer) and me and Alice always partner up, it was her turn and she got act. She picked up a marker and started skipping around and I immediately got Mary Poppins. The marker was supposed to be an umbrella. Super proud of that. (current house)

Another Activity Junior memory is when mom had to describe a word and Dad had to guess, the word was Bible. Also there are open rounds, meaning anybody can guess, this was not an open round. Mom described it as 'the only book we don't have' and Alice said Bible instantly, we got the points even tho we weren't supposed to. (current house)

I believe this was in between houses, perhaps a temporary stay while moving? I'm not exactly sure why we were there. Anwyay, the garden had a wall and it was a little overgrown with blackberries, and there was a chunk missing from it and it so so reminded us of the movie Stardust, cuz if I remember correctly when he first saw her, he climbed through a similar wall to get to her. I haven't watched it in forever, so I might be wrong. But we really thought it looked like it was from that movie. (old house)

We went to Germany, a couple times I think, but I only really remember one maybe two, anyway one of the was in winter and we were walking down the street and I slipped on ice and face planted into the concrete so I ended up with a scar on my forehead for the rest of the trip. In that trip I also remember complaining about how made us dress because she made us wear thick tights under jeans so we wouldn't be cold and I wasn't a fan of that. Doesn't sound like something you'd enjoy remembering but I do. (old house)

On my tenth birthday, I know exactly when it was this time, it was unicorn themed. I have a bunch of memories from this day. I wasn't supposed to look in the fridge cuz that's were my cake was and it was a surprise, but I forgot that so I took the cheese from the fridge for lunch (it was spaghetti, I loved spaghetti) and everyone was panicking 'did you see it? did you look? omg the surprise is ruined' but I genuinely didn't see shit. I was only there for cheese so that's all I looked at. The cake was revealed later and it was in fact a surprise to me. (old house)

Still my 10th bday, on every present I got, there was a picture of a unicorn stuck on it, and I collected them as I was unwrapping. Father had the fire going in the fireplace to both heat the room (it was January) and to burn wrapping paper. Can you guess where this is going? Father accidentally put one of the unicorns in the fire. I of course was upset, not bawling but just 'aw man, that sucks', cuz I wanted to keep all of them, so he fished it out of the fire and in my pile of nice pretty ones there's a slightly burnt one. I still have them somewhere I think. (old house)
