Something Something Movie Work

Currently working on a local film. I’m not new to being on set, but the other times I haven’t been working. Just chilling and hanging out. This is technically my second paid job #yayy.

   I’m having a good time! The pay is good and I have an easy job. The only downsides are waking up early and being in the 100°+ weather, even then, I’m inside most of the time. It could be much worse.

   I managed to get my friend a job as a set PA/runner too which has been great. I haven’t been alone and bored asf the whole time. I’m allowed to ride with her when she’s sent out on runs sometimes and that’s been soo nice. We’ve turned a lot of little runs into a two person job LMAO. Yes they need help printing out these papersss. I need to be there. Trust🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

   Other than my friend, I know a few other people on crew which makes it less awkward. Both crew and talent are friendly so far. The lead actor has been superrrr kind to me. He tipped me $20 since I’ve been putting certain snacks aside for him LMAOO. Love that guy.

  We did, unfortunately, lose our camera guy because he tested positive for Covid…! We had yesterday off so everyone could get tested. I think we only lost our props girl along with him. Will be pissed if it gets me once we wrap tho.
